Yearbook Sales Extended!
Yearbook sales have been extended until the end of January. Deposits of $10 or payments in full will be accepted. Prices are now $40 for a regular book and $45 with your name.
A MESSAGE FROM OUR S R O OFFICER -- CHAD ESTES
I just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying being your SRO Officer this year and working with your child. Our main concern at NMS is the safety of your child, so I am asking for your help with a few items concerning morning traffic and dropping off in front of the building. Please keep your child buckeled up until your get to the "long walk" in front of the school and your child is ready to exit the vehicle. As soon as you reach the "long walk", your child should be ready to exit the vehicle; he/she does not have to exit immediately in front of the main entrance. This will keep traffic flowing better and make it easier for all involved. If I can be of service to you or your child, please feel free to contact me. I am here to make your NMS "home" a safer, more pleasant experience.
7th Grade Immunizations
The Tennessee Department of Health has issued new immunization rules and is issuing a new official certificate that is required for entry into school effective July 1, 2010. Children entering 7th grade must show proof of two new immunizations which are Tdap booster and 2 doses of Varicella. Students who do not have proper documentation will not be allowed to attend public schools. The immunization record for 7th grade students will need to be turned in to the school nurse at the beginning of the upcoming school year. Records may also be mailed directly to the school for your convienence. Please contact your child's primary care doctor or the Loudon County Health Department to obtain the requirements.
