North Middle and Greenback Attend Middle School Math Competition
Students from North Middle and Greenback attended the Pellissippi State Community College Middle School Math Competition on May 4th! Students from both schools represented our county well!
NMS Student Wins at Dogwood Arts Festival!
North Middle School student, Meiling Finn, was awarded first place in the middle school division of the 2012 Dogwood Arts Festival Chalk Walk. We would like to publicly congratulate her on this outstanding achievement. Way to go!
HONOR ROLL CHANGES
You will notice that we have made some changes to our Honor Roll to comply with our Student Handbook. We now have the GOLD HONOR ROLL, which is all "A's"; and SILVER HONOR ROLL, which is all "A's and B's". Students will still be listed by their grade under each category. We have a GREAT group of students at NMS and WE ARE VERY PROUD OF THEM!!!!!! Thank you for your patience during this period of transition to our new Honor Roll format.

7th Grade Immunizations
The Tennessee Department of Health has issued new immunization rules and is issuing a new official certificate that is required for entry into school effective July 1, 2010. Children entering 7th grade must show proof of two new immunizations which are Tdap booster and 2 doses of Varicella. Students who do not have proper documentation will not be allowed to attend public schools. The immunization record for 7th grade students will need to be turned in to the school nurse at the beginning of the upcoming school year. Records may also be mailed directly to the school for your convienence. Please contact your child's primary care doctor or the Loudon County Health Department to obtain the requirements. If you have any questions, please contact the school nurse at (865) 986-9944.
